Working as Art Director for the Gallagher in-house creative agency, I have developed the Specialty, Alesco and FAC brands across multiple platforms and channels. I articulate the creative vision to the team and oversee production of marketing and promotional pieces, including print, video, digital, and social media executions, campaign collateral, and internal and external facing corporate materials.
As Senior Designer at AXA XL, I worked as the sole UK based designer supporting UK marketing team goals across all AXA XL and Angel branded material. Predominantly working on digital media but also print, display, exhibitions and social media campaigns. I worked as brand guardian to build and protect the brands both internally and externally, and in collaboration with Global Brand teams.
As creative director of the Institute of Directors, I oversaw the implementation of a complete rebrand and worked in collaboration with all departments within the organisation to improve the standard and consistency of their marketing material across all channels.
I also developed sub-brands for different departments and initiatives within the IoD and implemented them across a range of media including print, websites, infographics, exhibitions, email and video.
Director magazine gave me access to some of the biggest names in British business together with the freedom to work with some of the best portrait photographers around.
Working hands-on with everything from concepts through to on-set art direction, I have been fortunate to collaborate with some of the best photographers in the business like Steve Neaves, Jay Brookes, Adam Lawrence, Ray Burmiston and Dan Kennedy to name but a few.

As creative director on Director magazine, I have been able to work with some of the biggest names in British business, politics and entrepreneurship.
Conceptualising and shooting our own covers every month, we have produced some unique and memorable images and been nominated for several magazine industry awards.
During my time as creative director at Sky magazine, I oversaw several redesigns and worked closely with the editor and senior BSkyB managers to shape the direction of a vital part of Sky's customer communications.
Sky magazine had the biggest print run of any title in Europe, with over eight million copies a month.
As creative director of BSkyB Publications, I was in the fortunate position of being able to conceptualise and art direct photo shoots with some of the biggest names in television.

Working closely with a small editorial team, we took the existing Sky Sports magazine and reinvented it in terms of content, photography and design.
Hugely successful as a promotional vehicle with its target audience and highly regarded within BSkyB, we were able to gain unique access to great sports stars and work with some of the best photographers around.
In addition to Sky Magazine, I was also responsible for the redesign and creative direction of Sky Sports magazine for BSkyB.
I was again able to art direct shoots with some of the biggest sporting names in the UK and play in integral role in the development of the magazine from the ground up.

My work includes a wide range of digital projects for a variety of clients including websites, apps, emails, interactive magazines, micro-sites and digital advertising.
I have extensive experience working collaboratively across a number of corporate campaigns utilizing scrum and agile management processes, turning large-scale projects round quickly, effectively and within budget.
Working with professional video production companies, most notably Chocolate Films, I have developed a range of diverse videos including a series of promotional shorts for Jeep, event films, interviews, advertorial initiatives and short animations.
I also shoot, light and direct films myself including interviews, debates and events, using up to three cameras in both studio and location environments.
Having begun my career working on motoring titles, I have subsequently art directed and designed on publications covering many subjects including football, technology, women's fashion, gardening, cookery and TV to name but a few.
This is a small selection of design work from a wide range of newsstand magazines, contract publications and special projects.
Producing a range of creative solutions including websites, supplements, social media, books, advertorials, video and photography, I have worked with a wide variety of corporate and commercial clients.
